Cambodia is a democratic country. So it always chooses the representative through a national election. The national election of Cambodia is always held on 28 July in every five years. The national election in Cambodia is appeared with free, correct and justice. All people who are 18 years old have the right to join the election. Another thing, all Cambodian citizens have the rights to stand for the representative candidate of the national election. Any person reaches the age of 45 years old or over can have the opportunity to be the candidate for the national election. However, he or she must be appointed by any existing party. In conclusion, the national election in Cambodia is very good to apply for choosing its own leaders.
