ASEAN is the
acronym of the Association of South East Asian Nations. It was successfully
established in 1967 in Thailand. It the present day, there are ten countries
which are the official members of ASEAN. ASEAN was established because of two
reasons; politics and economics. The purpose of ASEAN is to promote democracy
to fight against communism. Also, it intends to challenge the economic system
with European countries. Besides, ASEAN nowadays is very popular, and it has
cooperated with three more countries such as Korea, China and Japan so-called
ASEAN plus three. ASEAN is a peaceful institution for all Asian Countries.
