Valentine’s Day is a special western
foreign love day that is done by people of all ages every 14th of
February. They take this day to express their love. People give flowers to
someone who they are fond of, and they also write something on valentine cards
and seen them to wish each other. There is the enjoyable time for eating meal
together in the families to tighten the relationship and grow new memories.
Valentine Day fraudulently entered Cambodia without passport or visa for almost
ten years, and now it is working well within the youth’s relationship. The
notification is that on this youth-expected date, high school and university
students always bring roses to their lover to show that the receivers are the
givers’ valentines. This misunderstanding is step by step changed. As a result,
a group of students understand it rightly, and they have celebrated this love
day by offering something to their teachers in return for teaching them hard.
So, it is sure that there won’t be any more confusion of Valentine Day
celebration in Cambodia. I am optimistic that next generation youth will
celebrate this day in the right way as the done one.
